Days Gone is an action-adventure survival horror game set in a post-apocalyptic open world, played from a third-person perspective. John, or Deek for short, who was forced to separate from his girlfriend, Sarah, the day things went to hell, and he has spent the 700-or-so days since simply surviving with his best friend and fellow biker, Boozer. (In a nice touch, whenever you pause the game, you’re shown the number of days that have passed since the outbreak.) You play as a biker named Deacon St. It’s set a few years after a mysterious outbreak that has turned most humans into zombies freakers, which are essentially feral animals that just want to kill everything. A major game mechanic is Deacon’s motorcycle, which is used as the player character’s primary mode of transportation as well as mobile inventory.Days Gone takes place in Oregon, though, aside from the constant rain, it could really be any zombie-infested place. Players can use firearms, melee weapons and improvised weapons, and can use stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures known as Freakers. Days Gone is played from a third-person perspective, in which the player can explore an open world environment. John discovers the possibility of his wife Sarah still being alive, which leads Deacon on a quest to find her. Set in a post-apocalyptic Oregon two years after the start of a global pandemic, former outlaw-turned-drifter Deacon St. Don’t forget your Drifter bike, an invaluable tool in a vast land. Brutal encounters With vicious gangs and hordes of Freakers roaming the land, you’ll need to make full use of a variety of customizable traps, weapons, and upgradable skills to stay alive.
